The Sonics host Belushi's Below on the 1st May for a night of wrongness. Featuring Twisted Frequency main man James Harcourt and Sonic Safari regulars Tim Sneath, Nick Wilson and Danny Williams, this will be a showcase of the tecchier side of Sonic Safari in one of Brighton's overlooked rave dungeons..

James Harcourt / Twisted Frequency Recordings:
In 2001 James was signed to Release Records in Canada. His 3rd track with them was called "Diaspora" and broke through - it was on CD2 of John OO Flemings "White Label Euphoria" series of CD's and caned by Hernan Cattaneo, Paul Oakenfold and others.
In early 2006 James began Twisted Frequency Recordings with the early help of Glenn Morrison & Claudia Tarry. The label was always intended to release some of his own work - but also feature original tracks and remixes from others who make sounds he loved from all over the globe. So far, this has included Umek (Slovenia), Audiojack, Pig & Dan & Mike Monday (UK), Spirit Catcher (Belgium), Lutzenkirchen, Mashtronic & D-Nox (Germany), Hernán Cattáneo (Argentina), Dr.Bass (Russia) and many more. The label has won praise from mags & top jocks on merit, operating with very little promotion or hype - and no third-party management or kissing ass ...
James' releases have won support and explicit praise from many of the guys who have given him inspiration in the first place out in clubland e.g. Dave Seaman, Hernán Cattáneo, Ian Ossia, Nic Fanciulli, Sébastien Léger and Fergie among others. He has had tracks and remixes placed onto a range of CD compilations, including Erick Morillo's Subliminal Winter Sessions, Hernán Cattáneo's Renaissance Sequential series and Hook'n'Sling's Chew The Fat! debut. And in a scene polluted by insular cliques, shameless mercenaries and what Mylo called "talentless thugs" - he has achieved this without relentless self-promotion, letting the music speak for itself...
In 2006 "Loud & Low" was voted best new single by Fergie on Radio 1 - and James was invited to interview for the One-To-One feature on the same show. In 2007 he released further original tracks on Spin Out, Baroque, Bug Eyed and of course Twisted Frequency and T-Freq Digital.
James' DJing has blown up over the last year or so, gigging all over Europe on a regular basis and due to the volume of remix work has had to turn down offers to play further afield in places like Brazil, Japan, India, Mexico and Argentina, so Sonic Safari are EXTREMELY fortunate to grab him for one night..
This is one night not to miss.
